5. Auger Truck Cartage (Wilson Stockfeed)

Bulk stockfeed cartage by auger truck across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty, trading as Wilson Stockfeed. Feed is collected from the farmer’s supplier, store or the Port of Tauranga and augered directly into on-farm silos, bins and hoppers. Typical loads include:

• Pellets and custom blends

Auger units carry up to 30 tonne, typically 12 tonne in the truck plus 16 tonne in the trailer, with auger reach up to 9m. A farm silo holds about 16 tonne when empty, so a single silo top-up is often around 12 tonne. Augers are cleaned down between product changes. Farmers who order feed through a rep can nominate Wilson Stockfeed as the carrier.
